Axe On Wood

TRAINING CAMPS

Tired of bullshit?  Tired of moving to karaoke or doing what you are told in some box?  Come join us outside and strip training down to the basics.  Not only will we chop and haul a ton of wood and break a good sweat outside but we'll help you learn about movement mechanics, body awareness, strength training practices, injury prevention.  Learn lessons you can bring back with you when you go back inside the walls of your life or venture outside.

MULTI-ATHLON TRAINING CHALLENGES

After decades of intense adventure and sports activities, we decided to invent one of our own inspired by biathlon and Stone Age  & historical badassery.  Come cross country ski (or, in the summer, run or bike) a backwoods course and work on shifting and refocusing in the transitional gap from challenge to challenge.  Challenges will vary but you can probably expect to do things like shoot arrows and BB guns, chop wood, haul logs, and throw stones and other objects.  We are hoping to include Bigfoot wrestling but we still haven't found him.

We don't believe in coaching methods that get into peoples' heads so we don't do that.  Other than setting up and operating sweet training challenges, we focus our efforts on providing some movement and conditioning guidance to help you crush it a little more.  Check out our principles to read how we generally think about training.
